Voicemail & transcription
Read it in four seconds
Nobody enjoys working through voicemail. You cannot skim it, you cannot search it, and finding the one message that mattered means playing back the six that did not. Corinne writes them down.
How it works
A message arrives as words, not just audio
When someone leaves a voicemail, Corinne stores the recording encrypted and transcribes it. Both appear in the portal: the text to scan, the audio to play if you want to hear the tone of it.
- Searchable. Find the message where somebody mentioned an invoice number, without remembering which day it was.
- Forwardable as text. Paste the transcript into an email to a colleague instead of describing what you heard.
- Readable in a meeting, quietly, without headphones.
- Kept as long as you decide. Retention is a setting, and old messages are purged automatically rather than accumulating forever.

“Hi, it’s Sam calling about the quote you sent over on Thursday. We’d like to go ahead, but I’ve got a question about the install date — can you give me a call back on this number? Thanks.”
The part that matters
Your customers’ voices stay on our equipment
Hosted voicemail transcription normally means uploading a recording of whoever called you to a third‑party service for processing. Depending on the provider, that recording may be retained, and may be used to improve somebody’s model.
Corinne’s speech recognition runs on hardware Reverie Tech owns and operates, on a connection reachable only from inside the platform itself. The audio does not leave. There is no third‑party transcription vendor in the path, because there is no third party.
For a law firm, a clinic, or anyone whose callers say things they would not want copied elsewhere, that distinction is the whole feature.
A detail worth caring about
It will not invent words nobody said
Speech recognition has an unnerving property: it is confident even when there is nothing to hear. Hand most systems thirty seconds of hold music, a dial tone, or a caller who hung up without speaking, and they will return a fluent, plausible sentence. It then sits on a customer’s record, looking exactly like evidence of something nobody said.
Corinne checks whether anyone actually spoke before it writes anything down, and scores its own confidence per phrase. We verified this rather than assuming it: thirty seconds of non‑speech returns an empty transcript and nothing else.
How you get told
- In the portal. New messages appear for the extension or the shared box they landed in.
- By email, with the transcript in the body so you can read it from your phone.
